Size labels and measured foot length are different quantities. A chart does not establish the fit of every model.

Implementation notes for partners

  • Use /widget/size-guide-widget.js as the current v1-compatible script. The brand, locale and theme attributes will not be removed without a new URL.
  • Strict CSP: allow script-src https://shoesizeguide.com for the Web Component and frame-src https://shoesizeguide.com for the iframe.
  • If a CMS blocks scripts, use the iframe snippet. It isolates CSS and keeps the converter lazy-loaded.
  • License: CC BY 4.0 with attribution to ShoeSizeguide.com. Do not remove the Powered by link unless a custom agreement says so.
  • JSON API: cache for up to 24 hours and refresh from last_verified, Last-Modified or ETag.

JSON API

GET https://shoesizeguide.com/api/sizes/nike.json — Source-backed sizing. Transparency log for the brand and model records used across ShoeSizeguide.com.

  • GET https://shoesizeguide.com/api/sizes/index.json
  • schema_version: 2; charts[].rows: US men, US women, UK, EU, CM/JP labels; published foot length only.
  • charts[]: source URL, locator, scope, market, verified date. Unknown values remain null; no fit probability or review aggregate.
  • last_verified; charts[].verified_date; charts[].source_url; charts[].scope.

Add it in 3 steps

  1. Copy the Web Component or iframe snippet.
  2. Paste it into the HTML where the converter should appear.
  3. Change brand, locale and theme only if your page needs it.

Install in your CMS

WordPress

WordPress: add a Custom HTML block on your sizing guide page. Paste the snippet and preview it. The JavaScript panel requires unfiltered_html permission. If your host removes scripts or iframes, ask the administrator for a supported integration. WordPress documentation

WooCommerce

WooCommerce: use the product description’s HTML / Text view or an allowed HTML block in the product template. Choose the product’s brand and men/women scope; a general chart does not establish the fit of that particular shoe. WooCommerce documentation

Shopify

Shopify: test the snippet in a copy of your theme. Use a Custom Liquid block if your theme provides one, or add the downloadable Liquid section. Preview desktop and mobile before publishing. Shopify documentation

Attribution to original material is required; ranking credit is not. The included link uses rel="nofollow". Paid placements may also use sponsored. Manufacturer material retains its source rights.

<size-guide-widget brand="nike" gender="women" locale="en" theme="light"></size-guide-widget>

Use gender="women" only with a published women's or unisex chart. Missing chart scopes show unavailable. For iframes add &gender=women to the embed URL. Source documentation checked 2026-09-30.
